Job Description
We are seeking two experienced Classification and Compensation Analysts to serve as Facilitators for Focus Group Meetings for large-scale classification studies. In this role, you will leverage your experience and passion for action and have a direct impact through facilitating focus group meetings in an exciting and meaningful classification study. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather valuable input for creating and/or revising job descriptions. You will also synthesize feedback from the focus groups, participate in the collection and analysis of compensation data, and prepare clear and engaging reports that highlight key findings and provide actionable recommendations. Additionally, you will perform other classification and compensation duties as needed to support the department.
These are District Temporary positions which are estimated to end 18 months from start date.

Schedule: 9/80 Monday through Friday /Every other Friday off. Monday through Thursday 9 hours per day, 8 hours per day every other Friday. Start times are no earlier than 6 am and end times are no later than 6 pm.
Hybrid: Metropolitan’s current practice in this position is a hybrid work schedule. This typically includes two days a week in person and the other days remote. This is subject to change dependent on organizational needs. In addition, a telework policy is scheduled for negotiations and once completed and implemented, will provide final direction on the hybrid schedule.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years relevant experience; or two years as a MWD Human Resources Analyst II.
Relevant Experience is defined as: Conducting job analysis and facilitating related meetings.
This classification performs work that requires maintaining confidentiality and is routinely privy to matters that involve confidential information, sensitive personnel issues, or exposure to confidential and sensitive strategic corporate information.
Desirable Experience: Participation in a large scale classification study for a public agency.
