Are you someone who enjoys getting the details right and making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes? Our Accounts Payable team is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Technician II, a key role that supports departments across the entire county.
This position offers a mix of independent work and team collaboration, with a variety of tasks that keep each day interesting. If you enjoy helping others, staying organized, and solving problems, this could be a great fit for you.
The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a hybrid work option - just two days a week required in the office!
ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll be doing:
- Handling advanced accounts payable tasks to support accurate and timely financial operations
- Reconciling accounts payable transactions with the general ledger
- Reviewing invoices and purchasing card transactions for compliance with County policy
- Creating and updating accounts payable procedures and documentation as needed

QualificationsTo move forward in the hiring process, candidates must meet the required minimum qualifications. - Two (2) years of experience as a Larimer County Accounts Payable Technician I or comparable experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities required.
