Duties and Responsibilities- Poll Worker Support & Communication: Serve as a main point of contact for poll workers, providing clear and timely updates for Early Voting and Election Day. Maintain and manage the poll worker database to ensure accuracy and readiness.
- Recruitment Assistance: Collaborate with the recruitment team to attract qualified poll workers and election technicians for Early Voting and Election Day.
- Training & HR Coordination: Coordinate and process HR paperwork for both new and returning poll workers. Assist the training department with poll worker training classes, emphasizing Early Voting processes and procedures, to ensure they are adequately prepared for their roles.
- Payroll & Reimbursements: Accurately track hours and submit payroll using county systems. Support reimbursement processing through the State Voter Registration System (VREMS).
- Supply & Inventory Oversight: Prepare, organize, and replenish poll worker supply kits. Maintain a detailed inventory for Early Voting and precinct supply management.
- On-Site & Remote Support: Provide real-time phone and in-person support to poll workers during Early Voting and Election Day.
- Election Notification Management: Oversee election notification communications for all polling locations using mail, email, and phone outreach.
- Post-Election Support: Participate in the return, cleaning, and inventorying of all supplies following each election.
- Community Engagement & Outreach: Partner with the Community Engagement team on outreach and recruitment efforts during non-election periods.
- Adaptability: Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the mission of the office.
Minimum QualificationsSupervisor: Precinct Manager
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
Certifications: Must obtain State Certification from the State Election Commission within 18 months of hire
Driver's License: Valid SC Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 3 months

Physical Requirements: - - Able to lift up to 25 pounds, travel within the county, and work at various polling sites.
- Capable of prolonged focus on computers and repetitive administrative tasks.
- Comfortable presenting information and responding to questions from staff, leadership, and the public.
Working Conditions: - - Standard work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM.
- Must be available evenings and weekends during election periods.
- May be required to report during hazardous weather or emergencies.
