Job Description The online training Project Coordinator will conduct outreach, marketing, and course evaluations in coordination with TEEX NERRTC and its partners. This position will conduct and complete course assessments, provide development, maintenance, and provide support to participants in addition to providing presentations and attending conferences to promote cybersecurity trainings. This position will also provide support to other internal programs as the need arises.
The position's primary responsibility will serve as the project coordinator for the online cyber training courses relating to network and user security. Outreach efforts to promote the courses will be essential. The position will provide support to all participants requesting assistance, interact with various SMEs, vendors, and curriculum development staff to ensure the content of all courses are up-to-date, and coordinate the development of new courses as needed. The position will also be responsible for analyzing and reporting eLearning usage as well as implementing a course impact program using levels 3 and 4 participant evaluations.
The Project Coordinator will report to the Program Director.
Required Qualifications:- A bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college.
- Three years of experience within the cybersecurity industry specific to security of information systems/networks and critical infrastructure.
Equivalency: Will consider an Associate’s degree in a related field and five years of within the cybersecurity industry specific to security of information systems/networks and critical infrastructure or a High School Diploma/GED with seven years of within the cybersecurity industry specific to security of information systems/networks and critical infrastructure experience.
Required Licenses/Certifications:- Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:- Associate’s degree with seven years’ experience within the cybersecurity industry specific to security of information systems/networks and critical infrastructure.
- Five years of experience within the Information Technology industry with work experience related to security of information systems and networks and critical infrastructure.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to regularly use computer/keyboard.
- Ability to work online for extended periods of time.
- Ability to travel independently to other and/or remote locations by air or driving.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Ability to evaluate and participate in marketing and outreach plans to promote and increase participation and utilization of online cybersecurity courses.
- Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships to form partnerships with organizations.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact and communicate with all levels of personnel including senior and executive management in a professional, tactful and influential manner.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills are required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with short turnarounds.
- Ability to be flexible and to manage multiple projects in an organized, timely manner.
- Knowledge of both current and future security breach preventive measures.
- Expertise and clear understanding of cyber-attack vectors and network defensive mitigation efforts.

Essential Duties, Tasks, and Percentages:Conducts Course Assessment, Maintenance, and Development - 55%- Measures course impact to participants using levels 3 and 4 evaluation processes.
- Assesses information to make improvements to course content and enhance the participants' experience.
- Monitors and checks monthly completion data.
- Works with Curriculum Manager and Instructional Designers on course revisions, recertifications, and new development.
- Participates in alpha and beta tests of courses as requested.
- Ensures content provided by SME's is relevant and current.
- Reviews and revises course objectives and content during maintenance, recertification and development of curriculum.
- Completes and submit Unified Training Needs Analysis. (UTNA’s)
- Provides subject matter expertise (SME) review for alpha and beta testing courses.
Conducts Outreach and Marketing - 30%- Establishes/Maintains communication & coordination with DHS cyber staff (i.e., National Cyber Security Division (NCSD)) to ensure courses are aligned with national needs and priorities.
- Contributes and coordinates with division marketing for social media communication for cyber security programs on a regular basis.
- Provides subject matter expertise to the cybersecurity program through attaining and maintaining industry certifications, organizational memberships, and speaking opportunities.
- Coordinates with marketing to attend conferences and networks using all available communication mediums to develop collaboration and partnership opportunities with schools, colleges, universities, and industry and city/state agencies to promote the cybersecurity courses and the cybersecurity certification series program.
Provides Support to Participants - 15%- Receives and responds to incoming email and telephone calls on related user issues within designated timeframes.
- Tracks user issues/problems noting trends and reports issues to curriculum manager accordingly and timely, ensuring resolution is communicated to the user.
