    The Information Technology Services Division is filling one (1) Systems Analyst II position in the Business Systems Support section. The duties, responsibilities, and requirements of this position include, but are not limited to:

    •Provide Tier 1 and 2 support to Fleet personnel for Computer hardware, software and peripherals.

    •Work with Fleet stake holders to gather requirements of software and hardware needs for Fleet

    •Gather information from fleet stakeholders on custom reports.

    •Develop custom reports in SQL and Crystal reports publish reports to Fleetweb.

    •Assist in troubleshooting errors on Fleet web applications (Fleetweb and FAMOS).

    •Travel to various fleet locations to deploy equipment to users including laptop, desktop, tablets, printers, monitors, and other peripherals.

    •Assist in installing and patching fleet application servers.

    •Assist users with access and authorization to Fleet applications (M5,Fleetweb, FAMOS, EJ Ward).

    •Create user and technical documentation for Fleet Applications.

    •Conduct user training for Fleet Applications.

    •Perform other related duties, as needed.

    Overtime and some travel may be required. A valid California Driver’s License is required and must be maintained during the course of employment.

    This position will be located a 433 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90012, but may change to accommodate business needs. Overtime and some travel are required. A valid California Driver’s License is required and must be maintained during the course of employment.

    Candidates will be evaluated for the following work-related skills, knowledge, and abilities:

    • Previous work experience, education, and knowledge and ability to assess issues within Fleet Applications such as M5 FAMOS, EJ Ward Fueling and Fleetweb.

    • Possess troubleshooting skills.

    • Ability to communicate and interact with technical and non-technical users tactfully in writing, in person or over the phone.

    • Ability to analyze technical issues and come up with solutions or enhancements to current state systems.

    • Knowledge of creating technical and user documentation, systems flows, and How-To guides for technical and non-technical users.

    • Knowledge of systems analysis gathering requirements from stakeholders to enhance current state systems to better fit the need of fleet users.

    • Ability and understanding of Change Management and Conflict Management.

    • Ability to work as a team; and understanding of Safety and EEO policies.

    The evaluation of candidates for this position may be based on a review of training and experience as presented on the resume/application and an interview.
