Park Maintenance Superintendent who will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and supervising the maintenance, construction, and security of park grounds, facilities, and equipment, as well as personnel. Responsibilities include full-scope supervision of employees, providing training and safety information; ensuring grounds and equipment are maintained and in good repair; and monitoring the budget with associated reports and records.

Benefits By Occupation al Unit : Supervisory Non-Represented CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Availability: Must be available to work in
Big Bear.
Travel: Travel within and outside the County may be required. A valid California Driver's License and proof of automobile liability insurance must be provided at time of hire and maintained throughout employment.
Working Conditions: Must be able to frequently lift and/or carry items weighing 10 pounds and up to 50 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend over, crawl, and perform other physical activities in the performance of job duties for this position.
Sponsorship: Please note San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.
Minimum RequirementsExperience: Five (5) years experience in Park and Recreation facility maintenance, or closely related field, at least six (6) months of which must have been performing in a lead worker/supervisory capacity. (Closely related would include extensive grounds with several multi-use buildings, such as a school or golf course. Construction and residential development is not considered qualifying.)
