Division Overview:
This position will support the City and Deputy Attorney in calendaring appointments, maintaining a database of departmental action items and projects and printing copies of the script for City Attorney or staff that is covering the Dais; setting up interview meetings for top candidates; work with executive team and other staff on legal projects, gather data and provides analyses; monitor and track the Council Message Board to communicate any important messages; communicate outstanding number of Council items on posting Friday to City and Deputy City Attorney; resolve all unresolved agenda posting issues; track and communicate with executive team the known executive sessions and law RCAs in a separate database; supporting attorneys presenting Executive Session and maintaining relevant backup of their PowerPoint.

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities

Develops and maintains databases to support data analysis and research findings for business projects. Writes reports that summarize findings, data collection techniques, implementation options, etc. Establishes project schedules using project planning software/tools, updates, and maintains project status reports. Communicates project/process status. Conducts research, analyzes trends, determines accuracy and relevancy of data/information, and uses sounds judgment to evaluate alternatives. Facilitates and documents meetings, action items, and processes using flowcharting methodologies. Maintains positive working relationships with managers, supervisors, employees and other stakeholders to gain their cooperation and support.
