  • Job Description

    Job Location: This position will be located at 920 Wildwood Dr., Jefferson City, MO, in the Division of Regulation and Licensure. Working hours are predominantly Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., but a different daytime schedule may be considered.

    We are seeking a qualified individual to primarily support the Certificate of Need (CON) Program, but may also support other programs within the Division of Regulation and Licensure. If you enjoy a variety of work duties and team work, this position is for you!

    • Provide support to the Program Coordinator, Assistant Program Coordinator, and Missouri Health Facilities Review Committee.
    • Participate as a team member of the CON unit, and contribute ideas and suggestions.
    • Assist with the initiation and completion of CON quarterly occupancy surveys and survey audits. Serve as a point of contact for technical assistance with the survey.
    • Maintain functionality and integrity of CON Survey System. Close surveys, conduct audit of survey data, enter decisions and Licensure changes, and check, save, and post final quarterly reports.
    • Work with statistical data to confirm an applicant's service area population and create project analysis templates.
    • Routine email correspondence by corresponding confidentially with different entities.
    • Scan and save documents to appropriate location; maintain electronic filing systems.
    • Accurately and rapidly enter data and perform data changes to databases.
    • Monitor compliance of Periodic Progress Reports (PPR) per CON regulations and statutes. Serve as point of contact for PPR assistance and completion.
    • Process 1st CON extension requests and collect additional information.
    • Provide comprehensive post-CON Non-compliance Report to Program Coordinator monthly.
    • Draft CON approval letters, certificates, and extension approvals.
    • Prepare and assist with CON committee meetings. This position will operate the applicant presentation and testimony timer.
    • Assist with Sunshine Law records requests and request paper files located at Secretary of State Archives.
    • Other general duties as needed.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 1-3 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
    • This position supports a busy state-wide program. The successful candidate will be team-oriented and able to work independently, highly organized with excellent time management skills, accurate, detail-oriented, extremely dependable, and able to learn and apply applicable CON laws and regulations; and possess superb oral and written communication skills and good judgment. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required. Microsoft Access experience and experience with Adobe PDF forms is preferred.
