The Job Calling All Interested Students! San Bernardino County's Sheriff's Department, Coroner Division has an exciting internship opportunity for students interested in death investigations, law enforcement, forensics, or a field that is closely related. This is a perfect opportunity for students looking to enter the criminal justice field and apply their coursework with this hands-on internship opportunity.
Students will rotate within the Coroner's Division and learn and observe the following: - How to do an effective investigation.
- Observe the operations of working in the morgue.
- Learn how to work with the indigent and unidentified population.
- Learn how to perform clerical tasks associated with the Coroner's office and learn the role of a Public Administrator.

CONDITIONS OF THE INTERNSHIP Background: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation.
Hours: 120 internship hours for students who do not have a course requirement. Hours will be extended only if the course requirement has a minimum hour stipulation.
