    • The office for this position is located in the Harry S. Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, MO. 65101.

    This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD).

    • Serve as an IT Project Manager on small-to-large projects.
    • Continually collaborate with project stakeholders and team members.
    • Responsible for traditional Project Management activities, including but not limited to: creating Project Plans, defining scope, estimating costs, oversight of project budget, accurate and timely status reporting, and mitigating project issues through change requests.


    • Ability to perform all duties expected of an IT Project Manager with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to plan and organize projects, ensuring project deadlines are met.
    • Ability to manage a project from conception to implementation.
    • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
    • Ability to lead a team. Ability to mentor, coach, and develop the skills of staff. Ability to negotiate.

    • Knowledge of Project Management Best Practices.

    Strengths in Negotiation, Lean and Strategic Thinking, Building Strong Partnerships and Relationship Building, and the ability to develop productive, team-oriented relationships are also beneficial. Knowledge of Scrum according to Scrum.org’s Scrum Guide is also beneficial.
