The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who brings initiative, sound judgment, and a sharp analytical mind to every challenge. Skilled in navigating complex situations with diplomacy and fairness, interpreting and applying regulations across all levels of government, and managing teams with confidence, delegating effectively, building strong teams, and driving high performance. The incumbent will be coordinating projects to meet tight deadlines, delivering top-tier customer service, or communicating clearly in any setting; your ability to lead, organize, and connect with diverse stakeholders will be key. Proficiency with technology and a strong commitment to safety and collaboration round out this dynamic skill set. Qualified candidates have graduated from a four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related technical field and five (5) or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience in an electric or gas utility organization and/or substantive experience in electric or gas markets.

The salary range for the Assistant Director of Electric and Gas Utility Services is $154,296 to $187,548 per year (effective July 1, 2025); placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
