This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Department of Senior Services (DSS)>.

- Non-supervisory positions at this level perform complex assignments often requiring the development of new or improved applications, processes, or techniques.
- Accountable for application security, validation, evaluation, and implementation.
- Works on and solves complex problems where analysis requires in-depth evaluation of various factors, and provides complex technical support in relevant field of discipline.
- May serve as a project lead and/or provide technical direction to lower-level team members, as well as mentor less experienced staff.

Experience in and a desire to learn:
- C#, Java, HTML, CSS, COBOL, JCL, CICS,PowerShell and SQL.
- Experience with Mainframe systems and environment.
- Experience with Visual Studio, VSCode and other development tools.
- Experience or ability to learn ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Veracode security scanning tools.
- Experience or ability to explore and learn new tech in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Experience with various Relational Database Management Systems, (DB2, SQL Server).
- Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant. Knowledge of software design concepts. Skill in translating technical terminology to clear and concise communications with business partners. Ability to mentor, coach, and develop skills of staff.
