    We are recruiting to fill a Fiscal and General Services Manager position to perform responsibilities for the management of fiscal, contract, facility, fleet, general services, and publication activities. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining a comprehensive accounting and reporting system, monitoring expenditure of funds, supervising accounts payable/receivable and paycheck distribution, administering contracts, making recommendations on improved budget, fiscal, and audit controls, and overseeing general services and publications.

    • Establishes program goals and develops organizational plans with limited input from higher levels of management
    • Monitors and analyzes expenditures to ensure appropriate balances are maintained
    • Oversees the preparation of reports on account balances and projections, and reviews expenditures on a historical basis to project future budget needs, particularly for the financial management of OSCA and the circuit courts
    • Develops, recommends and implements an internal auditing system for the Office of State Courts Administrator
    • Develops and manages OSCA wide expense and equipment monthly spending plan reporting tools for executive management


    Minimum qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or court management and 6 years of professional experience involving full time work in a closely related field.

    Additional experience above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education.

    Preferred qualifications

    • Extensive knowledge of theoretical and applied governmental accounting
    • Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of budget and accounting administration, particularly as they relate to governmental procedures, practices and objectives
    • Considerable knowledge in using the state financial management and budget systems
    • Ability to prepare and analyze detailed financial, budget, and program reports and then organize and present concise oral and written reports of the information


    The salary reflected represents the base pay for this position and does not include any differential for time-of-service pay for state tenure.
