In-Service Trainer Forensic Treatment Center - South5400 Arsenal St., St. Louis, MO 63139Semi Annual Salary: $1,663.25 * Annual Salary: $39,917.90 Scheduled Hours: Days (Off Saturday/Sunday) Work Area: Dome Conference Center w/FTC-N & S Position Code: This is a vocational training and development position accountable for the delivering and enhancing onboarding and in-service training with an emphasis on therapeutic communication and clinical insight. Employees are responsible for assisting administrative staff and supervisory personnel to identify training needs, prepare training materials, and handling the logistics of training identified staff.
Responsibilities : • Knowledge of training methods and techniques for presenting training
• Ability to operate audio-visual aides, the computer; and other equipment used in the training process
• The ability to stand and/or kneel for extended periods; and periodically set up, move, and take down heavy equipment
• Collaborate with supervisors direct care staff/All staff.
• Work schedule may vary at times
• Additional job duties as needed
Eligibility : • No discipline within the last 12 months.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background in behavioral health, psychology, or a clinical setting preferred. Experience with therapeutic communication, de-escalation, or trauma-informed care is a plus.
• Four or more years of relevant experience (Substitutions may be allowed).
