This position will be located at
1659 E. Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101.This full-time position is funded through Federal Fiscal Year 2028, by a Land and Water Conservation Fund Administrative Grant. This position requires overnight travel, throughout the state, at least one week per month.
- Conduct at least five days worth of post-completion site inspections for Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) project areas (parks) each month.
- Manage in-office post completion inspection functions such as inspection report preparation / completion, project sponsor notification / collaboration, communicate conversion issues and discoveries with the Section Chief, update stewardship log and report to NPS quarterly, and organize digital post completion inspection folders.
- Create final performance reports, prepare and track self-certification letters, and prepare legislative letters for grant award and closeout.
- Update LWCF Access database, active grant spreadsheet, and payment log.
- Support the Recreational Trails Program through Missouri Trails Advisory Board event management and expense account management for board members and program.
- Prepare budget load & SAMII request forms.
- Assist with financial functions such as setting up FAITs, requesting LDPR Codes, and preparing JV and FX paperwork.
- Pay RTP & LWCF grant reimbursements in SAMII (including modifying SCS, RC, VIQ, and PV, following payment, and updating spreadsheets).
- Assist with Bus Grant payments.
- Assisting with organizing and file management for all grants, including digitization and digital files.
- Prepare memos and route documents in SharePoint for approval.
- Manage and monitor the mspgrants@dnr.mo.gov account.
- Make team member travel arrangements, communicate website update needs, p-card coding, and inventory / supplies management.
- Cross train with team members on LWCF, RTP, and Bus Grant programs.
- Other duties as assigned.

Equivalent to those typically gained by: - Bachelor's degree in Grants Management, Accounting, Parks and Recreation, Public Administration, Business Administration, or closely related field and 3-5 years or relevant experience.

- Training, certification, and/or education in continuous process improvement programs such as Lean Six Sigma as well as completion of Missouri Way, Leadership Academy, and similar programs is preferred.
