Research/Data Assistant - License Office Bureau Department of Revenue Annual Salary: $ 38,887.92 Location: Truman Building - 301 West High Street, Jefferson City, MO

HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: The position is located within the License Offices Bureau team and will work closely with contracted license offices across the state. This mid-level position will serve as a research/data assistant lead for the Bureau’s Contract Procurement Group.
DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: - Review and evaluate the License Offices Bureau’s processes for efficiencies and improvements while ensuring compliance with policy and procedure in accordance with Missouri laws.
- Update and maintain information on the License Offices Resource’s page and other Department websites for internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for completing basic or simple components of research projects and/or investigations, including data entry and maintenance, and may require specialized knowledge related to the area of research or investigation.
- Research and prepare responses to complex emails from internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop resource tools to create efficiencies and workflows that assist License Offices Bureau team members.

QUALIFICATIONS: - Possess high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate.
- Two or more years of related experience (listed above).
(May substitute four years of experience in a senior level clerical, technical, or professional position).
