Job Description
Being a Security Officer for the Missouri National Guard is very rewarding because we are "One Team.” These specialized security positions provide protection for the employees and equipment of the Missouri National Guard and Camp Clark.
Job Location: This position will be located at the Missouri National Guard, Camp Crowder, Neosho, MO.
• Provide security and protection to aircraft, equipment, and personnel. Protection of military resources located at your assigned base to include buildings and grounds.
• Observes activities of base personnel, civilian staff, and the general public. Conducts searches of persons and property within jurisdictional limitations and contact police when necessary.- This position will be required to have availability for all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Minimum Qualifications
• High School education required
• Valid Motor Vehicle license
• Ability to pass initial background investigations
• Ability to acquire and maintain a T3/Secret clearance eligibility
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical ability test consisting of a 1.5 mile run in 17:30 and 19 push-ups in 2 minutes
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
• Military or law enforcement experience
• Ability to assess information and take corrective action
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written form.
• Computer proficiency with experience working with Microsoft Office programs
