- Responsible for overseeing offender communication contracts which include offender telephones, media service players, electronic messages, video visitations, and related security and investigative services.
- Manage a wide range of projects from contract development to project implementation to contract compliance.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project status reports, responding to contract inquiries, and resolve project and contract issues.
- Assess project issues and develop resolutions.
- Conduct project meetings and responsible for project tracking analysis and reporting.
- Maintain accurate and complete contract files, documenting modifications, correspondence and performance records.
- Conduct audits and prepare reports as needed.
- Assist in addressing contractual questions employees have, creating employee accounts and helping to resolve employee issues.
- Position works every day in the office but will require some travel, generally two to three days a month.
- Position has a standard Monday-Friday work schedule but may be asked to work outside of normal hours.
Minimum Qualifications:Valid Driver’s License
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications/Skill: - Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects.
- Demonstrated k nowledge and understanding of contract administration, including proposals, planning, designing, implementing and evaluating contracts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information to individuals or groups.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining thorough documentation, staying on schedule, and managing logistics.
- Strong reading, writing, speaking, mathematical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to independently complete tasks within deadlines.
- Ability to use computers and Microsoft Office and quickly learn specialized systems to accomplish work.
- Understanding of data management and record keeping.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision with self-motivation to achieve well-defined and realistic personal goals.
- Ability to adjust planned work and apply critical thinking to address multiple demands and competing priorities in a changing environment.
All requested documents MUST be received by the closing date listed. Contingent upon your position, you may also be eligible to receive:
- A $2.00 per hour shift differential if you are assigned to a shift that begins on or between 12:00pm (noon) and 5:00am and are employed at a 24/7 congregate care facility (i.e. institution, transition center, supervision center, or command center).
- A $0.75 per hour maximum security stipend if you work full-time at a qualifying facility.
- A $1.00 per hour restrictive housing stipend if you are assigned a regular post within a restrict housing/segregation unit at any facility.
The Department of Corrections currently offers a guaranteed 1% pay increase for every two years of continuous service up to 20 years!
