Part-time Hourly Range
Library Associate I- $25.00 - $37.02 Hourly
Your Impact
- Assist library customers in the use of library services and technology; perform lending services functions, such as checking in/out materials, and registering new patron accounts.
- Handle money for fees or other purposes.
- Assist with interpreting library policies and procedures for customers; maintain confidentiality of customer records.
- Respond to customers regarding general and routine directional inquiries and refer customers to appropriate resources and staff.
- Assist with collection maintenance as directed.
- As directed, assist with the supervision of facility rentals and enforce rules applicable to that reservation.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with some clerical and/or customer service experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California driver's license.
- Ability to possess or obtain a First Aid and CPR certification within three months of employment is required.
