Lead Administrative Support Assistant (MVDL)Department of Revenue DOR VISION: To establish an environment that fosters confidence and trust by successfully utilizing technology, employing resources, and meeting customer needs HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: This senior-level office support requires independent work decisions to be made for complex clerical functions and processes involving familiarity of specialized terminology and/or software. Team members in this position provide administrative support to the Motor Vehicle Bureau Administrator, as well as other assigned Administrative Managers and support staff.
DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: - Answer and assist or direct telephone calls regarding questions or issues related to motor vehicle and marine titling and registration questions or issues
- Review, assign, track, and/or assist in resolving constituent transactional issues or complaints
- Track and update the status of special projects, process improvements, and bureau assigned fiscal notes
- Assisting Bureau Office Senior Staff with meeting scheduling, minute taking, and task monitoring
- Coordinate the review and update of correspondence utilized by the bureau
- Create and update complex bureau reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Assist/draft recommended changes to bureau procedures, forms, and publications

QUALIFICATIONS: - Three to five years of experience related to clerical or general office support (Substitutions may be allowed)
- Knowledge of processes and procedures applicable to the Motor Vehicle Bureau
- Ability to interact on the telephone with the public
- Proficient computer skills related to Microsoft Office products
- Ability to research and draft correspondence
