Ambulance Transportation Manager. The position is scheduled to work 5 days, 8 hours.
Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

Chandler Fire started out as a volunteer organization and is now an all career department. City charter authorizes the Department to mitigate all hazards, including fire suppression, emergency medical services (EMS), hazardous materials response, technical rescue, and crisis intervention. Who we are looking for Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone to manage and coordinate the Ambulance Transportation Program, including oversight of program revenue, performance measures, quality assurance for medical billing, and ambulance-specific regulatory compliance at the federal, state, and local levels.

Minimum qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a medical-related field, business administration, public administration, or related field; and
- 5 years of emergency medical services or ambulance transportation experience involving detailed research and analytics, including at least 2 years of lead or supervisory experience; and
- Current Certified Arizona Paramedic, or eligible for Arizona Paramedic certification through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), or Registered Nurse license; and
- NAAC Certified Ambulance Compliance Officer (NACO), NAAC Certified Ambulance Privacy Officer (CAPO), and NAAC Certified Ambulance Financial Officer (CAFO) within one (1) year of hire; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
The City of Chandler will conduct a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, a driving record check, and a reference check as a condition of employment. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results. All applicants hired will be required to be fingerprinted with successful results as a condition of continued employment.
