    The Role:
    The Manager of Sales Operations ensures the Group Sales team operates at maximum effectiveness by leading administrative support, enhancing CRM usage and optimization, and maximizing operational efficiency. This role enables sales professionals to focus on client relationships and business growth, while equipping leadership with critical insights for strategic decision-making.

    What You’ll Accomplish:
    Keep in mind that this list is not all-inclusive.
    • Lead Administrative Team
      • Lead, coach, and support sales coordinators and administrative staff.
      • Standardize workflows and service standards to ensure consistent client support.
    • Support CRM Operations & Data Analytics
      • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and CRM adoption across the team.
    • Maximize Operational Efficiency
      • Audit workflows and implement automation to improve productivity.
      • Develop and maintain SOPs for budget management, lead distribution, account management, reporting, and more.
    • Enable Sales Performance
      • Train new hires on systems and processes. Develop ongoing training protocols for existing teams.
      • Partner with marketing, finance, and event design to align processes and tools.
    • Provide Executive Leadership Support
      • Support goal setting, resource allocation, and deployment decisions.
      • Manage special projects to strengthen sales productivity and enhance customer experience.


    What We’re Looking For:
    • Three years of management experience in sales operations or a related role is required (5+ years preferred) within hospitality, meetings & events, or a destination marketing organization.
    • High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field preferred.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems (Simpleview, Salesforce, or similar) with strong data management, reporting, and dashboard creation skills.
    • Operational mindset with proven success in developing SOPs, streamlining workflows, and improving cross-team efficiency.
    • Analytical strength with the ability to interpret pipeline and performance data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
    • Team leadership experience, with the ability to coach, mentor, and manage sales support staff.
    • Inclusive mindset with a commitment to valuing differences and fostering collaboration.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, adept at working across sales, marketing, finance, and event operations.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proactive problem-solver who thrives on innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.
    • High integrity and discretion, demonstrated by the exercise of great judgment in handling sensitive information and supporting executive leadership confidently.
    • Must be available to work outside regular business hours as needed.
