Nevada County Behavioral Health is excited to welcome a
Health Technician Supervisor who will help shape our administrative and operational foundation across several offices. This role is perfect for someone who values teamwork, communication, humor, and high-quality service-and who wants their work to make a real difference.

What You’ll Do - Provide direct supervision, coaching, and day-to-day support to Health Technicians across multiple Behavioral Health locations.
- Serve as a working supervisor-jumping in to cover reception, documentation support, scheduling, phone coverage, and other administrative needs to keep the office running smoothly.
- Build and maintain efficient workflows for documentation, communications, scheduling, and other operational processes that support high-quality client care.
- Develop team culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, professionalism, and kindness.
Ensure consistency and quality across sites, helping staff feel connected even when working in different locations. - Partner with clinical supervisors and managers to remove barriers, improve cross-team communication, and ensure clients receive the right support at the right time.
- Coordinate onboarding, ongoing training, and development opportunities for Health Technicians.
- Support compliance with county procedures, privacy practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate actively in team meetings, planning efforts, and program improvement initiatives.

RetirementThe County is a member of the CalPERS retirement system and also provides the opportunity for voluntary contributions to a 457 deferred compensation account through Nationwide by way of pre-tax and Roth payroll deductions.
