    BASIC FUNCTION :
    Looking for motivated librarians to work both independently and as part of the library team. Responsibilities include all areas of library operations, including reference, instruction, technical services, and electronic services. Both daytime and evening hours are available. Essential Duties Summary Required Qualifications The successful candidate, by the final filing date, must possess the minimum qualifications for a Librarian.
    • Master’s in library science, library and information science.
    • OR the equivalent.
      • EQUIVALENCY REQUIREMENT : All applicants are required to meet the minimum qualifications specified by the Yuba Community College District ( YCCD ) by the application filing date. Alternatively, applicants must have obtained an equivalency determination from the District before the publication of the Recruitment Announcement.     Desired/Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Range/Step Class I - VII (Based on degree and teaching experience). Salary Range Steps 1: $1,558.22 - Step 10: $2,609.76 per unit. Benefits Information PART - TIME (less than .60 FTE ): Part-time positions less than .60 FTE are not entitled to any District paid fringe benefits.
