    San Bernardino County’s SPARK Youth Employment Program is a paid work experience. Participants will have the opportunity to explore their interests and career pathways, develop workplace skills and engage in learning experiences that will help in developing their social, civic and leadership skills.

    Participants who finish the program will earn a certificate to enhance their future employment prospects with the County.

    Minimum Requirements

    Program Requirements : Must be 16 to 24 years of age by the program start date of June 15, 2026.Must be a resident of San Bernardino County. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must obtain an approved work permit prior to the first day of employment on June 15, 2026 (if under the age of 18). Must be available for the program duration from June 15, 2026 to July 24, 2026, working approximately 28 hours per week from Monday-Friday. Must have a valid California Identification Card.
