Under the administrative direction of the City Manager, the Management Services Director plans, organizes, and directs the activities and operations of the Management Services Department, including all financial functions as well as the Purchasing and Information Systems divisions. The incumbent serves as the City’s chief fiscal officer and is responsible for providing leadership over a wide range of fiscal and support operations, including treasury, accounting, budgeting, revenue management, utility billing, purchasing, and information systems. The City of Lompoc is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and forward-thinking executive to serve as its Management Services Director. The successful candidate will be an experienced finance professional and collaborative leader with strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a demonstrated ability to guide complex financial operations in a dynamic municipal environment. Candidates must possess the ability to combine deep technical expertise with strategic vision to ensure the continued fiscal health, transparency, and operational excellence of the City of Lompoc.

The annual salary range for the Management Services Director is $157,760.51 - $214,670.98; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
