    Position Description
    The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock TX, is seeking a recurrent faculty member to serve as an Embryologist. Candidates must have a terminal degree related to Laboratory-Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). Successful candidates will have expertise in the field of clinical ART and will work with the Laboratory and our Reproductive Endocrinology Division as we expand our infertility services.

    Major/Essential Functions
    • Perform all embryology and andrology skills necessary to maintain the operation of the ART Laboratory, including both ICSI and embryo biopsy.
    • Maintain and perform maintenance on all ART laboratory equipment, including daily QC and QM tasks.
    • Work a flexible work schedule to maintain the services of the ART Laboratory.
    • Assist the laboratory director in maintaining al regulatory requirements of the ART Lab.
    • Train students, residents, and staff in any and all of the above.
    • Lecture students and residents as assigned by the department chair or laboratory directory on subjects in his/her expertise.
