RoleYavapai County Recorder's Office is seeking a detail-orientated and highly organized
Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations and support the efficient management of public records. This position plays a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service to both internal teams and the public.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in title insurance, escrow, real estate, loan documentation or bookkeeping, along with a strong understanding of records management processes. Knowledge of Arizona Revised Statutes, Article 3 - Recorder (A.R.S. §§ 11-461 through 11-484) is highly desirable.
Major Duties, Responsibilities- Monitors daily workflow of the office and provides general supervision to assigned personnel.
- Prepares personnel work schedules and performs pertinent personnel actions.
- Acts as departmental coordinator and/or liaison for policy administration and confidential administrative support.
- Provides guidance and information to staff within the department.
- Develops and implements procedures, operations, and special projects; coordinates and supervises selected functions within the department. Represents Director in administrative matters during Director’s absence.
- Composes correspondence and prepares reports and other narrative material.
- Maintains records and coordinates departmental activities.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum QualificationsEducation: Associate’s degree in business administration or related field.
Experience:A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible general office experience, to include one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.
An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-per-year basis.
Additional Requirements:Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.

- Keep management informed of key operating issues affecting the department.
- Remain current in knowledge required to perform assigned duties.
- Handle confidential matters and maintain discretion always.
- Act with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.
Work Environment:The work environment is associated with an office. The work area is adequately lighted, heated or cooled and ventilated.
Physical Requirements:Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Sufficient vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech ability to communicate effective in-person and telephonically. Capable of frequent repetitive movement of arms, fingers, and wrists. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
