Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Plan, organize, coordinate, and oversee organizational and operational projects as assigned by the City Manager’s Office
- Support the implementation of citywide priorities, strategic initiatives, and cross-departmental efforts
- Coordinate with departments and stakeholders to ensure projects remain aligned with City goals, expectations, and timelines
- Prepare reports, presentations, briefing materials, and project updates for executive leadership and City Council
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and milestones to support timely completion of assigned initiatives
- Track progress, identify issues, and help develop solutions to keep projects moving forward effectively
- Serve as a liaison between the City Manager’s Office and internal and external stakeholders
- Support communication, coordination, and follow-up related to key organizational and operational initiatives
- Assist in maintaining organized records, documentation, and status updates for assigned projects
- Provide high-level coordination and project support while managing multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience- Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience
- Local government experience is required
- Must have or be actively pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA)
- Master’s degree in Public Administration preferred
