    Performs administrative work supervising the operations, programming activities, and maintenance of the Tennis Centre. Responsible for promoting the facility for usage, revenue generation and bookkeeping, supervising the work of facility employees, and facility maintenance and tennis pro instructor contractors. Work is performed under the general direction of the Specialty Site Recreation Program Manager and reviewed through reports, conferences, and results achieved.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Associate's Degree in Recreation, Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field and two (2) years management experience in a tennis facility required, including some supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required at time of application. Valid United States Tennis Association Pro certification required. Must pass background check which includes polygraph.

    If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
    • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
    • Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
    • Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
    • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
