Job Summary: Responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the Safety and Security Department to provide maximum safety and security for students, staff, and center property. Serves as the Centers designated Safety and Occupational Health Officer. Ensures proper screening of staff, students, and visitors entering and exiting the site. Responsible the Center Occupational Health and Safety program.

Qualifications:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years broad-based civilian, military security or fire prevention and safety experience, one of which was in a supervisory capacity. OSHA Safety standards background.
Preferred: Master's degree preferred.
Knowledge: Knowledge of standard security, fire prevention and safety procedures and OSHA requirements. Must possess a valid State driver's license. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Familiarity of Workers Compensation policies. Familiarity with the problems of underprivileged, minority groups, especially youth. Must obtain and maintain CPR/FA Certification.
