Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $31.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor assigned areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and document observations, incidents, and security-related concerns according to post procedures.
• Support retail operations by assisting with access control, directional guidance, crowd monitoring, and customer interactions while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
