Part-Time Security Associate - Rushmore Hotel Rapid City, SD

We're looking for a reliable, service-minded Security Associate to join our team. This role is more than security-you're a visible, approachable presence who helps create a safe, welcoming environment for every guest.

Schedule: Part-time; evenings and weekend nights only (no day shifts).

What You'll Do:

Provide a consistent, professional security presence throughout the property

Monitor guest and visitor activity with a friendly, attentive approach

Conduct routine property walks and ensure safety standards are met

Respond calmly and effectively to incidents or guest concerns

Support front desk and operations as needed to enhance the guest experience

What We're Looking For:

Strong sense of responsibility and situational awareness

Excellent interpersonal skills: calm, respectful, and guest-focused

Ability to de-escalate situations with professionalism

Prior military and/or security background is preferred

Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

SD Security License is required
