    Job Description

    As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Technician in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.     Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
    • Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with licensing requirements and Allied Universal and/or site policies, including carrying authorized equipment while maintaining a professional, courteous presence.
    • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
    • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter, with attention to access points, ATM and cash handling areas, and other restricted locations.
    • Document and report security-related activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations using required logs and reporting systems, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Have 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience.
    • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
    • Be 21+ Years of Age.
    • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
