In support of the USMC's MCTSSA Program, Air Systems Team. C2 Air Systems/Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S) SME is responsible for providing C4I systems support to military units via on-site
and remote efforts. This support includes the set-up, configuration, operation,
troubleshooting and maintenance of the CAC2S Shellback, Operations Facility
(OPFAC) and the Communication Subsystem (CS). These support efforts are
provided to military units while deployed, in garrison, in preparation of, and while
participating in major exercises and contingency operations.
- Able to provide highly specialized system interoperability and integration support,
including over-the shoulder training and troubleshooting of multiple air
communication systems to Marines deployed and in garrison
- Experience with operation and technical support of CAC2S, Air Defense Systems
Integrator (ADSI), Tactical Data Links Jreap A/B/C, Link 16, Vmf, Tactical Radios,
and Sensors
- Working knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting of Cisco routing
and switching, TCP/IP, UDP, VLANs, ACLs, STACKWISE, WAN, NAT, VTP, and
EIGRP
- Software experience with Windows Server 2008, Windows 10, Windows Server
2012, and Red Hat Linux 6.7
- System Administration experience working with Microsoft Active Directory,
VMware Virtualization, and DataCore VSAs
- General knowledge of a Command Center and the tactical utilization of C4I systems Desired Qualities:
- Positive Attitude
- Self-motivated and focused
- Ability to articulate technical information
- Flexible in various environments Certifications: (Required): Comptia SEC+ CE
