    Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to support high‑visibility mission sets within the defense and national security industry, located at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling . The Acquisition Analyst role is ideal for an experienced DoD acquisition professional who brings strong analytical, strategic, and advisory expertise to complex communication infrastructure and network services programs critical to national security.This role is 100% on site, requiring an active TS/SCI, and will require ability to obtain a special designation above TS/SCI before starting.ResponsibilitiesProvide acquisition analysis, planning, and execution support for enterprise communications infrastructure and network services programs.Interface directly with stakeholder groups, including Contracting Officers (COs) and Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs).Develop Request for Proposals (RFPs), including both competitive and non‑competitive actions.Support source selection activities, including technical evaluations and acquisition documentation.Assist with acquisition support aligned to key DoD program milestones and decision events.Conduct and support contract negotiations in accordance with DoD acquisition policies and procedures.Serve as a trusted advisor to mission partners on contracting principles, acquisition planning, and overall acquisition lifecycle management.Guide acquisition strategies that enable reliable communications capabilities in support of national security missions.QualificationsBachelor's degree with 8+ years of DoD acquisition experience, or 12+ years of DoD acquisition experience in lieu of a degree.Demonstrated experience supporting DoD acquisition programs and contracting activities.Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition policies, processes, and lifecycle management.Experience developing RFPs and supporting source selections and technical evaluations.Experience conducting or supporting contract negotiations.Ability to interface effectively with senior government stakeholders.Active TS/SCI security clearance.Nice to HaveExperience developing and executing DoD acquisition strategies.Experience supporting telecommunications or communications‑related acquisitions.Experience developing and managing Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) Plans.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.CompensationSalary range: $150,000 - $165,000 (depending on experience)Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, Paid Holidays, and Sick Leave as required by law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
