The successful candidate will be responsible for advising senior executives on complex and high-stakes legal issues, shaping business strategy, and providing guidance that balances legal, regulatory, and commercial risks with the company's long-term interests. This role involves leading a legal team, partnering with business leaders, and driving operational excellence within the legal function.Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' legal experience, with a strong background in leading complex corporate transactions. The role requires exceptional business acumen, the ability to operate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment, and a proven track record of influencing and earning the confidence of senior leaders. The Deputy General Counsel will be expected to have a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree, an active license to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction, and a preference for those with corporate finance experience and a background in a large, global organization.
