Security Officer

As a Security Officer, you'll be part of a highly trained team dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment at T-Mobile and Grand Garden Arenas. Acting as a visible presence and first line of response, you'll play a critical role in addressing security concerns, responding to emergencies, and supporting life safety efforts.

The starting rate: $20.00 per hour
The day-to-day:
- Provide excellent service to guests and employees; help resolve any complaints or issues
- Patrol and monitor all areas of the property, including the outside, using a bicycle or company vehicle
- Secure emergency scenes to prevent more damage or harm, alert others to danger, call emergency responders, and lead evacuations if needed
- Write reports about daily activities and any unusual events, such as damage, theft, or accidents
- Use phones or two-way radios to send and receive messages, including emergency calls
The ideal candidate:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- One (1) year of prior relevant guest services experience, preferably in a similar resort setting
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- This position is event based - must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
