Anticipated Hiring Range: $280,000 – $300,000 annually

As a key member of the County's executive team, the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer (DCAO) provides vision, direction, and oversight for the Health and Human Services Agency's operations. The DCAO serves as a strategic partner to the Chief Administrative Officer and Board of Supervisors, drives innovation, ensures equitable service delivery, and advances the County's vision of a just, sustainable, and resilient future for all.

The Health and Human Services Agency is nationally recognized for its collaborative model that values partnerships with nonprofit organizations, healthcare systems, community clinics, and other contracted providers. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, politically astute, and relationship‑driven executive who can successfully lead within an established, highly interconnected health and human services system.

Salary and Benefits

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $280,000 – $300,000, plus an attractive benefits package. Salary will depend on experience and/or education.
