We are currently seeking a highly trained and experienced Armed Security Guard to join our team and provide protection for our client's gas stations. In this role, you will be responsible for patrolling the premises, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of employees and customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong situational awareness, excellent judgment, and the ability to respond swiftly and effectively to potential security threats.ResponsibilitiesPatrol the gas station premises on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect signs of criminal activity, including theft, vandalism, and trespassingMonitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond promptly to any security breaches or suspicious behaviorEngage with customers and employees in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a vigilant presence to deter potential threatsRespond quickly and decisively to emergencies, such as robberies, medical incidents, or fires, following established protocols and proceduresEnforce company policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations, to maintain a safe and secure environment for all stakeholdersMaintain accurate records and documentation of security incidents, patrols, and activities in daily logs or reportsCoordinate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders as needed to address security concerns or incidentsProvide assistance and support to employees during cash drops, deliveries, or other high-risk activities, ensuring their safety and securityParticipate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge related to security and safety proceduresQualificationsMust possess a valid BSIS issued exposed firearms permit and Guard CardMust possess a valid Driver's License and provide copy of driving recordPrevious experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related field preferredCompletion of firearms training and proficiency testing requiredStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to remain calm and composed under pressureExcellent judgment and decision-making abilitiesDuty belt, Level 3 duty holster, level 3A body armor, Baton permit, OC spray permit, taserKnowledge of basic first aid and emergency response proceduresSalary and BenefitsWeekly pay every ThursdayHealth InsuranceOpportunities for advancement and professional development within the security department#J-18808-Ljbffr
