As one of only 3 global security providers, our 175k+ team members in 34 countries combine and adapt global best practices to match the unique nature of each market we serve and partner with Electronic Security, Global Risk Services, CyberSecurity, and Remote Services (iSOC) divisions to create meaningful 'Hybrid Security' solutions for Prospects.Job Description Responsibilities:Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.Participate in training and become familiar with general safety proceduresInteract with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional mannerThis position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security OfficerMonitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premisesLogging inbound and outbound trucks, control/limit access to the facility at entry point to include visitor sign in/out logs, issue identification badges, etc.Capable of walking to and from guard shack to trucks/be very agileCirculate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect propertyGuard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rulesEnforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistanceEscort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection or to escort persons off customer propertyWrite detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs)Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional mannerMonitor for irregular or unusual activitySecure facility and designated areasEnforce facility and company policies and proceduresInvestigate and prepare reports on incidentsQualifications 18+ years of ageHigh School Diploma or GED required.Must have a valid CA Guard CardExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Capable of following complex instructionsStrong interpersonal skillsWillingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.Knowledge of security operations and proceduresAt least 1-year Gate house officer experienceMust have a valid drivers licenseCPR certificationMust have reliable transportationMust have good communications skillsAbility to stand or walk for long periodsMust be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periodsMust be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behaviorShift Full Time GraveyardHours: 11:00pm-7:30am Days: Wed-Thurs & Sat-SunPay and Benefits Pay Rate: $21.78Full Benefits + 401kWeekly pay CA PPO# 120931
