The Marshal serves as a resource to others by answering questions and addressing concerns with management in a timely manner.ResponsibilitiesAcknowledge, greet and thank all members and guestsMaximize course utilization by managing pace of playEnforcing course rules for members and guestsMaintain member safety by providing assistance on the courseImplement and support all AGC initiatives and programs as requested by managementOther duties may be assigned by managementQualifications Experience in a customer service-oriented environment, preferably in the golf/hospitality/service industryMust be able to operate golf carts and other machinery safelyAbility to communicate effectively with members, co-workers and managementValid driver's license requiredHigh school diploma or GEDWorking Conditions Days and hours of work vary by schedule and business needs.Evening, weekend, and holiday work will be required.While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand for long periods of time, to walk, read, hear, talk, balance, climb, use hands, use fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, smell, taste, push or pull. The employee may be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, or sharp objects.
