Fire & Safety Manager and Vice President of OperationsJob Description :A Fire & Safety Team Member ensures the safety of guests, employees, the tracks and facility at all times .Essential FunctionsEnsure the safety of the premises for guests and employeesInspect the track & premises for potential hazards before and during each shiftCommunicate with departments via radio/walkie talkieMaintain the conditions and requirement stated on Las Vegas Motorsports Park safety permitIn the event of incipient fires, extinguish immediatelyContain and evacuate for fires other than incipient firesEnsure employees are aware of the exact location of fire firefighting equipment in the immediate areaMaintain constant means of communication with track managementDrive fire & safety vehicleMaintains communication with local fire departmentsMaintains all OSHA required regulations, documents and certificationAssists other departments with guest concernsAll other duties as assignedPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; to stand; to walk; to see; to use a radio; be on feet for extended period of time ; to use hands; to drive; to possibly be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals; and to reach with hands and arms.
