Cottage Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our Emergency Department team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses to deliver both critical and non-critical emergency care in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
You will be responsible for assessing patients, assisting in the development and execution of care plans, and performing a variety of clinical and technical tasks in accordance with New Hampshire Patient Care Protocols. This includes identifying abnormal findings, prioritizing care needs, and supporting positive patient outcomes across physical, psychosocial, and educational domains.
As a key member of the ED team, you will collaborate closely with nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care. You will also interact with patients and families in a calm, respectful, and professional manner, maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.
Additional responsibilities include supporting departmental operations, adhering to hospital policies and procedures, participating in staff meetings, and maintaining ongoing professional development. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality emergency care.
