The successful candidate will be the first and lead Global Corporate Counsel, with a primary focus on guiding the company through IPO readiness and leading the legal strategy for capital structures, public company reporting, corporate governance, complex transactions, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a hands-on approach, as the Deputy General Counsel will be responsible for establishing compliance frameworks, managing SEC reporting, and overseeing all corporate governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. degree, be a member of a state Bar Association in good standing, and have at least 8 years of corporate legal experience, with a significant portion in a fast-growing tech company. Experience in taking a technology company through an IPO and managing post-IPO compliance is essential.The role demands a professional with a proven track record in leading complex corporate transactions, strong collaboration skills with executive stakeholders, and the ability to provide practical, business-forward legal advice. The Deputy General Counsel will also be involved in building and managing a legal team, so experience in this area is highly valued. The position is pivotal in the company's growth and requires a candidate who is adept at monitoring and adapting to global regulatory changes.
