Job DescriptionBe part of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Skunk Works program in Santa Barbara area. The selected candidate will support a flight program, traveling to austere remote locations, maintaining and deploying aircraft electrical and avionics systems, performing fault analysis, attending debriefings, and assisting with support equipment.ResponsibilitiesSupport on‑site customer operations and maintenance.Deploy, prepare, maintain and re‑deploy program assets.Perform fault analysis and resolution of aircraft electrical and avionics system discrepancies.Attend debriefings to rapidly identify system issues and detect emerging issues.Document operational and maintenance problems and communicate within program channels.Operate and assist in the service and maintenance of support equipment.Travel to and work at austere remote locations, obtain and maintain U.S. passport, comply with mobility requirements, chemical warfare training, vaccinations, and meet customer medical requirements.Basic QualificationsCustomer interface experience in a field environment.Troubleshooting experience with aircraft electrical and avionics systems.Active Top Secret clearance.Desired SkillsExperience with aircraft shop practices, safety, tools and test equipment.Cost, schedule, and quality management supporting MRO activities.Technical report writing.Experience operating and maintaining support equipment.Willingness to travel, work any shift, weekends, and holidays to meet customer requirements.FAA A&P license, AET certification, or avionics related repairman certification.Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionics systems.Ability to work with and interact with the customer and program engineers.Willingness to travel to and work at austere remote locations and accept assignment to customer‑selected locations.Employment InformationOnsite, full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.#J-18808-Ljbffr
