    The Asset Analyst will be responsible for analyst work in a wide variety of analytical, and evaluative assignments such as fiscal and project work related to County facilities asset management. The Asset Analyst will conduct data entry and data record maintenance within Integrated Work Management System Systems as directed by supervisor/manager.

    Responsible for performing work collecting asset data for new and existing facilities assets as well as entering data. Data gathering will frequently require physically visiting sites and frequent communication with supervisor and staff. Gather and maintain warranty information for such assets, collect relevant warranty paperwork, enter pertinent data, and continually maintain accuracy.

    HIRING SALARY RANGE: $54,308 - $79,684 (Estimated Annual Salary)

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Essential Duties

    This customer service-oriented position is support focused and charged with completing the duties below in a professional manner utilizing top tier interpersonal skills and physical site visits. The emphasis is to serve technicians, supervisors, and managers in the realm of asset information.

    Under direct supervision, applicants:

    • Contribute to asset information collection and maintenance.
    • Actively develop and utilize at least intermediate skill with Excel to maintain accurate records within the system.
    • Assist in analyzing and auditing asset data.
    • Assist in analyzing and auditing Preventative Maintenance metrices.
    • Coordinate disposal of retired assets
    • Summarizes and analyzes (3) and (4) data to be reviewed by supervisor.
    • Assembles, classifies, evaluates data and information used in supporting the County’s facilities operations and capital outlay programs for review by supervisor.
    • Assists with various other data collection and system implementation tasks related to Integrated Work Management System Systems
    • Collects, organizes, and prepares data for departmental planning.
    • Provide administrative support and assistance related to Asset Information to appropriate parties.
    • Works cooperatively with other team members to create meaningful and timely reports.
    • Assists in the coordination of condition assessments and reviews of County buildings, building equipment.


    Minimum Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Analytical Field closely related is required.
    • Education supplemented with five to seven (5-7) years of responsible work experience in a government or similar institutional environment or an equivalent combination of experience, training, or advanced education.
    • Requires knowledge of Asset Management Principles, and Reserve Analysis.
    • Experience with Integrated Workplace Management Systems or IFMA Certified Facility Manager, FMP or SFP a plus.
    • Experience with SPCC Reporting and VCC Reporting is a plus.
    • A Valid South Carolina driver’s license is required.
